The boss battles are all awesome, as well, as, unlike with prior Mario games, there's a good amount of originality here. 3', Charging Chucks and Galoombas from 'Super Mario World', or even the Bullies from 'Super Mario 64', seeing these enemies in a whole new way in 3D (or in BETTER 3D in the Bullies case) is just a delight. Whether it be Boom Boom or Spikes from 'Super Mario Bros. I love the fact that there are returning enemies from previous Mario games, as well.

Plessie is also awesome, as every level riding the adorable orange dinosaur is always a blast, and I hope to see her in more entries. This time, it's to save the new adorable colorful fairies called the 'Sprixies', and the way they're incorporated into the game is genius, as their colors match each world you finish, and is these attentions to detail that make Nintendo one of, if not my favorite gaming company ever. Speaking of new characters, I love how this games introduces new characters to save instead of Peach. Same with Bowser, Boom Boom, and Pom Pom.

It's big, adorable, charming, and most importantly, fun. Overall, this game is just phenomenal. Whether it be the gained ability to climb up every wall for a limited time, pounce and swiping at enemies, or just looking adorable, it is a power up that I hope becomes a main stay from here on out. This game not only embraces the household pet (so much, that some enemies and locales are based off of them, which, as a cat lover, I'm all for), but it also introduces one of the best Mario power ups in recent history that turns any player into a cat, and it is adorable and awesome.

It takes everything great about SM3DW and gives it all its own flavor. It's admittedly pretty short, as it took me only 5 hours to fully complete it, but do not get discouraged, as it is one of the best expansions I've ever played. Bowsers Fury: If that version of 'Super Mario 3D World' wasn't enough, here is a new game entirely. Even with this fantastic game, that's not the only thing you get.

Lake Lapcat is a beautiful sprawling world where there are a hundred cat shines and a whole lot of fun islands for you to explore, each with 5 cat shines each. The music here is entirely original, and all amazing, just like in 3DW. This game is like if SMO and SM3DW had a baby, and it is, just like those two games, absolutely amazing.

Also, in many instances, fur, and a tail as well, and I'm living for it. Every enemy, every bush, every tree, every flower, every rainbow, every boss, and even birds all don cat ears. Literally everyone and everything is a cat. If you thought 3DW was cat heavy, this game ups that and then some. Speaking of cat Mario, this whole game is basically CATS.

This power would prove to be so strong, that even Bowser Jr. So much so, that he has taken on a new form where he's huge and wants to reign absolute havoc on the entirety of Lake Lapcat, all while trying to kill Mario in the process. He's back, and he's pissed. However, this game is more centered on the evil Koopa himself, Bowser. This game feels like the absolute best of every great idea Mario is known for in one fun, epic, and adorable package. Every level and island is not only beaming with creativity, but also uses exploratory methods near flawlessly like an open 3D Mario game and there are power ups in this game just like any traditional Mario game.

I think the way Fury Bowser is incorporated is awesome, as he comes in and out, which makes the act of finding a cat shine while he's out and reigning havoc that much more hectic and fun. Has a spotlight to his own, in this case, to help and guide Mario, and it is awesome. Speaking of which, since 'Super Mario Sunshine', this is the first game where Bowser Jr.

The Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury game features the same great. Even if you have, I say that this is still well worth your time from the quality of life improvements and a whole new game with it alone, as everything here culminates in one purr-fect package.Team up with up to three other players locally or online to reach the goal and. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, especially if you haven't played the original version of SM3DW on the Wii U. This included with SM3DW makes this whole package a must have, as you get 2 great Mario games for the price of one. This whole game proves that the big N are experts at making the iconic Italian plumber reach new highs, as this game, despite its relatively short length, is just phenomenal. Fighting Fury Bowser as Giga Cat Mario is every bit as epic as it is ridiculous, and I absolutely love it.
